How does it work?
1. Book an appointment.
2. Show up on time for your appointment. (You may have to wait 5 minutes for us to set up for you).
3. Any time spent using any of our equipment, including washers and dryers, is counted as part of your appointment.
4. Please factor your washing, pressing, and drying time into your booking slot.
5. You can cancel or change your appointment using your confirmation email. Same day cancellations will incur a $10 penalty.

Please do not arrive at Gowanus Darkroom if have exhibited any symptoms related to COVID-19 or if you have COVID-19. Please keep your hands and your station sanitized throughout your stay with our provided alcohol sprays and hand sanitizers. Be prepared to show proof of vaccination when you arrive.

What to bring and what to expect:

In addition to bringing your printing tools (negatives, sleeves, paper), we recommend wearing closed toed shoes, bringing a snack, and bringing some water.

When you arrive at Gowanus Darkroom, please check in with an employee to begin your appointment. We are located on the second floor of our building at unit #212.

Please factor in your washing, drying, and pressing time into your appointment slot. Any time spent using Gowanus Darkroom equipment is counted in your paid time, including heated drying, washing, and pressing. You may leave your prints overnight free of charge.

Limit ONE customer per appointment. All guests will need to pay the hourly booking.

You can cancel your appointment up to 3 hours before your appointment starts. Cancellation less than 3 hour before will incur a $10 penalty. Please be courteous and cancel if you will not be making your appointment.

Be prepared to show proof of vaccination when you arrive, and do not come if you are feeling under the weather or have exhibited any symptoms of COVID-19.
