Color Photograms with Amina Gingold (Artist in Residency Community Workshop)
Artist resident Amina Gingold will be leading two color darkroom printing workshops at Gowanus Darkroom this summer.
In this workshop, participants will learn to plan and execute a color photogram on FujiColor Crystal Archive paper. You will learn the basics of working in the color darkroom, using a color enlarger, understanding CYM filters, conducting an exposure test to expose your paper to your liking, and working with objects to make one-of-a-kind darkroom prints. The instructor will give a brief introduction to her practice and what she has worked on during her residency at Gowanus Darkroom.
